The Salkantay, Choquechurco & Machupicchu tour, is an easy trek with plenty of comfort and relaxation as well as walking amidst stunning scenery. Watch the Condor fly, contemplate the majesty of the sacred Salkantay and Humantay mountains. Visit Choquechurco, (where the gold is placed or put), a hidden archaeological site rarely visited by anybody, located in the limits of Peru Eco Camp’s property. The fine carved in natural rock and other remains, suggests that it was a place of great importance, perhaps a ceremonial center.

After this pleasant experience, we’ll continue in the direction of Machu Picchu, a treasure of a fascinating civilization unknown to the outside world until American historian Hiram Bingham brought it to international attention in 1911. The Citadel overlooks a lush cloud forest in the heart of the Peruvian Andes. This extraordinary site is a remarkable vestige of the Inca Empire at the pinnacle of its glory.
